Mission Statement
Motivated by customer satisfaction, we continuously strive to bring quality products, service and support to our customers. We maintain an environment in which a value-added focus on engineered products and solutions will ensure profitable growth for our customers, principals and employees.
Our History
The Keller family formed Keller Industrial Products in 1937 in Rochester, NY. In 1986, the Keller family’s second-generation owner sold the business to a long-time employee. In 1987, the business was purchased by its third owner; a professional sales veteran who had been with the company for a decade. Today, Keller Industrial Products, Inc. is based in Clarence, NY and has four outside sales representatives with satellite offices in Rochester and Syracuse, NY, as well as Pittsburgh, PA. We have an active base of more than 700 customers in the industrial marketplace with a strong emphasis on OEM sales.
Keller was initially incorporated as a distributor of hydraulic and pneumatic components, servicing primarily the machine tool and industrial marketplace. Over 70 years, Keller has migrated to its current and primary role of an outsourced professional sales organization (also known as a manufacturers’ representative) of engineered components. While more than 85% of our business is derived from our role as manufacturers’ representative, we remain active in distribution of those products that remain synergistic with our core base of products at the OEM level. We have an average 19-year relationship with the current manufacturers we represent. While we continue to look at new opportunities, we will only work with those manufacturers who have a solid history of high quality engineered components that are complementary to our current product lines.
Keller Industrial Products, Inc. remains dedicated to the machine tool and power transmission markets. Our core lines for the machine tool market are A&A Manufacturing (covers and cable carriers), NSK (ballscrew and linear bearings), GAM Enterprises (servo couplings and gear boxes) and Dimplex Thermal Solutions (Koolant Koolers and Schrieber liquid chillers). Our core lines for the power transmission market are Altra Corporation's family of products (Ameridrives, Bibby Transmissions, T.B. Woods, and Nuttall/Delroyd gear), Lenze (gearmotors and gearboxes), Ogura (electromagnetic clutches and brakes), and AC Tech (variable frequency drives).
Keller Industrial Products, Inc. remains in the distribution business with our primary lines of Winsmith (gear reducers), Master Pneumatic (filters, regulators, and lubricators), Kepner (check valves), and Lynair (cylinders). Please consult with our office manager for a complete list of products available.
